Reinforced grinding and deburring discs overcome thermal material damage, distortion, discoloration, corrosion, and poor metal-removal performance in SS, aluminium and ‘exotic’ alloys.
Thermal material damage, distortion, discoloration, corrosion, and poor metal-removal performance due to wheel glazing, hitherto have all been problems associated with the grinding or deburring of high-grade steel such as stainless, alloys, aluminium, and other heat sensitive materials.
Now a new range of reinforced grinding and deburring discs for use with high-powered angle grinders has been introduced by Pferd, which overcomes all of these problems while still maintaining maximum metal-removal rates with perfect surface finishing.
Called Polifan Zirkon-Cool, they come in a range of colour-coded grades and diameter sizes 100mm (4in), 125mm (5in), and 180mm (7in) in different grit specification from coarse to fine.
